MISSION : "Through various education and social empowerment programs, we work unconditionally towards transforming underserved communities to develop their true potential and break the cycle of poverty. Using revolutionary and custom-designed models – Science of Languages, Science of Technology and Science of Life – our organisation provides free education and social empowerment programs in six countries including: Malaysia, Cambodia, Timor Leste, Laos, Thailand and India."
VISION : "SOLS 24/7 Malaysia envisions that people from all communities, regardless of race, religion or gender, will have access to education and social empowerment services, resulting in developed societies with equal opportunities for all."
Each community centre is managed by Community Development Officers (CDOs) who live in the local community for one to two years. Through the Berjaya Community Centers, CDOs provide free English, computers leadership and character building classes to under-served people.
Community Education Centres
A fundamental part of SOLS culture as well as useful promotional and educational tools. Covering a variety of celebratory occasions, such as New Centre Openings, Welcoming New CDOs, National and Religious Holidays (Hari Raya) and Fundraising, SOLS events are an enjoyable and effective way of bringing communities together.
