BACKGROUND : Set up by Somit himself, this project has been working with the poor, street and slum children in Varanasi, India since 2004. They also teach the Indian Traditional art of living Yoga, Ayurveda, Maths and English Language among other subjects. The guesthouse provides tourists and volunteers comfortable accommodation, local tours, as well as home-cooked food available from the charity's very own cafe, 'Bowl of Compassion'. A truly effective grassroots organisaiton focused on improving lives in their local area by helping children who would otherwise have been swept under societies rug
